School community
We are a friendly and welcoming school and there are lots of opportunities to feel part of the St Andrew’s family. Our parent-run Coffee Shop is very popular while there are lots of social opportunities from onsite fitness classes to the Summer Social, as well as taking part in parent/child sports matches.

OSAs – Old St Andrew’s pupils
FOSA is our fantastic parent association who work hard to organise social events and fundraising initiatives throughout the year. Popular events include the FOSA Quiz Night, the FOSA Christmas Fair - not to be missed – and the FOSA Fun Day and Dog Show.
Last year, saw a joint venture with Hawkridge Distillers to create St Andrew’s own gin, Community Spirit, a delicious botanical gin infused with hand-picked blackberry leaves foraged from the school grounds. Launched to celebrate the 30 year ori(gin) of FOSA many have already enjoyed this ‘splash’ of history.
We have a thriving alumni community at St Andrew’s and they play a valued part in School life. A new OSA newsletter will report on weddings, births, new jobs, and other happy success stories. We try to host an OSA event each term. At a recent event, we welcomed Leavers from 1956 to 2021 and together with current and retiring staff, there was plenty to catch up on.
We’re always grateful to everyone who supports these events and also to those who have generously donated over the years, helping improve our School for future generations.
