Flexi or Monday-to-Friday boarding - the best of both worlds
Flexi-boarding is a popular choice at St Andrew’s, as is Monday-to-Friday boarding, now the West London bus has been launched. Children living in London get the best of both worlds – a country education with tonnes of fresh air and green space during the week, and with no Saturday school, fun family downtime in the city at the weekends.
Our lovely boarding house is bright, comfortable and cosy with a homely, family atmosphere. There are currently two dormitories for boys and two for girls, two common rooms and a kitchen - to make those pre-bedtime hot chocolates and toast.

Boarding staff
Bedding is provided, but regular boarders may choose to bring in their own duvet cover as well as suitable posters and photos to personalise their area. In keeping with School policy, mobile phones and other internet-enabled devices are not allowed in the boarding house.
The boarding common rooms are used for downtime - reading, crafting or watching TV or films on comfy sofas - and for board games, table football and pool. Afterschool boarding activities include campfires, crafting, roller discos, movie nights, ‘Bake Off’ cookery sessions, rock climbing, rifle shooting, golf, cricket nets and swimming.
Head of Boarding Kirsty Parkhouse, her dog Croydie, the House Parents, Will and Georgie Carter, and wider boarding team focus on pupil wellbeing in a caring, family environment. A qualified first aider is always on site.
