LEAVERS' DESTINATIONS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

St Andrew’s is part of the Bradfield Group, and Bradfield College is a popular leavers’ destination for our children, but parents have total freedom to choose their child’s next senior school.

 

St Andrew’s has an impressive and proven track record for securing excellent destination schools for our children at 13+, as well as a strong scholarship legacy, with 53 awards in the last four years across academic, sport, music, art and drama.

In 2021-2022, the following 8 Scholarships were awarded:

 

  • Abingdon Academic Scholarship x 2

  • Bradfield College Drama Scholarship

  • Downe House Academic Scholarship

  • Pangbourne College Sports Scholarship

  • Radley College Academic Scholarship

  • Radley College Music & Academic Scholarship

  • St Edward’s, Oxford, Sports Scholarship

In 2022, Year 8 leavers moved on to Abingdon, Downe House, Exeter School, Pangbourne College, Radley College, St Edward’s Oxford, Bradfield College, and The King’s School, Canterbury.

During 2020 – 2021, the following 13 Scholarships were awarded:

 

  • Bradfield College Academic Scholarship

  • Bradfield College Sports Scholarship x 3

  • Pangbourne College Academic Scholarship

  • Pangbourne College Sports Scholarship

  • St Edward’s, Oxford, Academic Scholarship x 2

  • St Edward’s, Oxford, Sports Scholarship x 4

  • The Oratory School Art Scholarship

 

Leavers’ destinations that year included Abingdon, Bradfield College, Canford, Cranford House, Pangbourne College, Queen Anne's, Sherborne Girls, St Edward’s Oxford, The Oratory and Wellington.

During 2019-2020, the following 3 Scholarships were awarded:

 

  • Pangbourne College Sports Scholarship

  • Marlborough College Sports Scholarship

  • Shiplake All-Rounder Scholarship

 

Leavers’ destinations that year included Abingdon, Bradfield College, Canford, Marlborough College, Pangbourne College, Queen Anne's, St Edward’s Oxford and Shiplake.

During 2018-2019, the following 19 Scholarships were awarded:

 

· Abingdon Academic Scholarship

· Bradfield College Academic Scholarship x 3

· Bradfield College Sports Scholarship x 4

· Marlborough College Sports Scholarship

· Pangbourne College Sports Exhibition Scholarship x 2

· Queen Anne’s Art Scholarship x 2

· Radley College Sports Exhibition Scholarship

· Radley College Sports Scholarship

· Radley College Drama Scholarship

· St Edwards, Oxford, Sports Scholarship

· The Oratory Sports Exhibition Scholarship Leavers 2019

 

Leaver’s destinations that year included Abingdon, Bradfield College, Eton, Pangbourne College, Marlborough College, Queen Anne’s, St Edward’s Oxford, St Helen and St Katharine, Radley and The Oratory.

In 2022-2023, the following 10 awards were achieved:
