Operations Manager

Full-time

Following the semi-retirement of the current Estates Bursar, The Bradfield Group is seeking to appoint an Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in the operational needs of St Andrew's; an independent preparatory school in Berkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking senior leadership team and take St Andrew's forward over the coming years. The Role As Operations Manager you will plan and represent the operational needs of the School, including responsibility for site and estates management, compliance and leading a strong health and safety culture. You will be an important advisor to the Head Master in the day-to-day running of St Andrew's and will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer of The Bradfield Group and other members of the Group Operations Management Team to ensure that operational services are delivered to support the educational aims and strategy of St Andrew's. You will supervise all site operations, logistics and projects on a day-to-day basis and will be the primary lead and champion for the school's management of health and safety. About You You will be able to demonstrate experience of successful leadership in a senior position, managing, organising and motivating multi-disciplinary teams. Experience of running an operational estate, managing budgets and health and safety is essential. A strategic thinker, you will have the ability to lead and manage projects, make high quality decisions and work effectively under pressure, whilst managing competing priorities. You must be willing to develop a deep understanding of the School's strategy and ethos and appreciate the interrelationships between the academic, pastoral, commercial and financial aspects of the School. Expertise in identifying, promoting, leading and delivering site development and sustainability improvement projects is equally important. KEY STAGE 2 TEACHER

Start Date: January 2026

Full Time (some flexibility may be possible, subject to the School’s timetable)

St Andrew’s is looking to appoint an outstanding teacher with the ability to teach either Maths or Science, who is passionate about teaching. School Minibus Driver (Part Time – 2 days per week)

Mon x 3hrs (am) & Fri x 3hrs (pm)  – Term Time Only

We are looking to appoint a driver to transport pupils to and from London. We are looking to open some additional routes to our existing offering to our parents. As a School Minibus Driver you will transport our pupils between home and School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient transport service for the school, ensuring the minibus is kept clean and operational and ready for use. Applicants must have excellent time keeping and be able to work to a schedule, whilst offering flexibility. Evening Cleaner -

Role: Permanent
Hours: Part time

(6.00pm - 9.00pm, Mon - Fri)

Start date – flexible The Bradfield Group are seeking experienced Cleaners to work at St Andrew's School in the evenings. This role would suit a person who has a can-do attitude, a flexible approach to tasks and who works to high standards. You will be willing to accommodate different cleaning processes as needs change and develop and perform a variety of cleaning and domestic tasks at St Andrew's School. Working hours will be 6.00pm - 9.00pm Monday - Friday, all year round. We will consider applicants who do not want to work all 5 evenings. Nursery Manager (School Holiday Club)
Contract: Part-time, fixed term from 20th October – 28th August 2026

Hours of work: Over all School holidays, Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 5.30 pm, excluding 2 weeks at Christmas (w/c 22nd & 29th Dec), 6 days of INSET (the 2 days before the return date of every term) and all other Bank Holidays: Easter x 2, May x 2 and August x 1. The first period of cover required is from Monday 7th July over the summer holidays. [We may be able to accommodate some holidays which might be already booked.] St Andrew’s is looking to appoint a professional practitioner to be our friendly and welcoming Nursery and Reception Holiday Club Manager (for 2.5 – 5 years). This would suit someone who currently works term time and is seeking additional work. Working hours will be 15 hours per week, 6.00pm - 9.00pm Monday - Friday, all year round.
