Head of Art

Full-time

Ideally this role would start on 1st September 2026, but 1st January 2027 will be considered. St Andrew’s is a flourishing, forward thinking co-educational IAPS prep school preparing its 320+ pupils for a range of senior schools, both locally and nationally. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is passionate about art and the successful candidate must have the vision, drive and desire to ‘bang the drum’ for art across the School. It is not essential for the successful candidate to be a current Head of Department but proven experience of being able to inspire children to be excited about art is essential. The Head of Art will lead, manage, and develop the Art curriculum across Reception to 8, ensuring it is cohesive, ambitious and reflective of best practice. The teaching role will largely be across the Prep School (Years 3 – 8), and will involve inspiring pupils of all abilities, including Art scholars, whilst collaborating with the Head of Pre-Prep to ensure smooth curriculum transition across the School. School Minibus Driver (Part Time – Term Time Only)

Various working hours per week. We are looking to open some additional routes to our existing offering to our parents. As a School Minibus Driver you will transport our pupils between home and School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient transport service for the school, ensuring the minibus is kept clean and operational and ready for use. Teaching Assistant across the Prep or Pre-Prep

Day Matron – Part Time

St Andrew’s is looking to recruit a Day Matron to join our Welfare Team. This is a varied and busy position and one that requires a caring nature, flexibility, initiative, stamina and a sense of humour. The primary purpose of the role is to support the health care of the pupils across the school (Nursery to Yr8). The role also incorporates administrative support and to be effective, the Day Matron must co-ordinate well with colleagues, including the teaching staff, the School Office and the Catering Team, and also with parents. Teacher of Mathematics (permanent and full time)

Evening Cleaner -

Role: Permanent
Hours: Part time

(6.00pm - 9.00pm, Mon - Fri)

Start date – flexible The Bradfield Group are seeking experienced Cleaners to work at St Andrew's School in the evenings. This role would suit a person who has a can-do attitude, a flexible approach to tasks and who works to high standards. You will be willing to accommodate different cleaning processes as needs change and develop and perform a variety of cleaning and domestic tasks at St Andrew's School. Working hours will be 6.00pm - 9.00pm Monday - Friday, all year round. We will consider applicants who do not want to work all 5 evenings.
