Key Stage 2 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Start date: January 2025

Full Time (some flexibility may be possible, subject to the School’s timetable)

St Andrew’s is looking to appoint an outstanding teacher with the ability to teach either Maths or Science, who is passionate about teaching. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is an enthusiastic professional, and who also works well in a team. St Andrew’s is a flourishing, forward thinking co-educational IAPS prep school preparing its 325+ pupils for a range of senior schools, both locally and nationally. A number of children win scholarships to their senior schools at 13+, as they move on to the likes of Abingdon, Bradfield College, St Edward’s, Pangbourne, Downe House, Marlborough, The Oratory and Radley College. The post involves teaching Years 3 – 8, preparing pupils for a range of different senior school assessment, which include PSB (Pre-Senior Baccalaureate) and 13+ scholarship. School Minibus Driver
Hours: Part Time (approx. 4 ½ hours per day)

We are looking to appoint a School Minibus Driver to transport our pupils between home and School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and efficient transport service for the school, ensuring the minibus is kept clean and operational and ready for use. Applicants must have excellent time keeping and be able to work to a schedule, whilst offering flexibility. Evening Cleaner -

Role: Permanent
Hours: Part time

(6.00pm - 9.00pm, Mon - Fri)

Start date – flexible The Bradfield Group are seeking experienced Cleaners to work at St Andrew's School in the evenings. This role would suit a person who has a can-do attitude, a flexible approach to tasks and who works to high standards. You will be willing to accommodate different cleaning processes as needs change and develop and perform a variety of cleaning and domestic tasks at St Andrew's School. Working hours will be 6.00pm - 9.00pm Monday - Friday, all year round. We will consider applicants who do not want to work all 5 evenings. Health & Safety and Compliance Coordinator

Start date – 1 January 2025 – flexible

Part Time – 25 hours per week (Term Time only + 6 weeks)

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a role to develop Health & Safety and Compliance systems within the School. The successful candidate will have proven Administration experience and will display a clear commitment to excellence; meticulous attention to detail is essential, as is experience of using technology to support similar areas of work. The role requires a range of qualities including integrity and discretion, plus skills such as communication, organisation and team work. Effective management of Health & Safety and Compliance plays a critical role in ensuring the School operates in accordance with the wide variety of guidelines and regulations set by government agencies and the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). The aim is to ensure the School is compliant with relevant legislation and is ‘inspection ready’ at all times.
