Microsoft Showcase School

Only a few years ago, we relied upon dial-up internet connection. Now being recognised by Microsoft for our excellence in integrating technology effectively into our curriculum is testament to how far we have come. As a Showcase School, St Andrew’s is preparing today’s children for tomorrow’s workforce.

One of five Prep Schools to be accredited Microsoft Showcase status, we join four hundred other schools across the globe.  Following an extensive, year-long application process, we are delighted to be recognised for our creative and innovative digital developments across all areas of school life.

St Andrew’s pupils use a Surface Go for class assignments and homework in Years 7 and 8, whilst Microsoft Teams, One Note, Forms and Sway have been integrated into school life. Over 10% of staff are Microsoft Advanced Educators (MAEs) and over 3% are Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEE).

Only 80 schools in the UK achieved Microsoft Showcase status this year, including several of St Andrew’s destination schools, including Bradfield College, Downe House, Queen Anne’s and Wellington College. To read how we achieved our application click here.

“We aim to use technology to create a distinct culture, and bring teaching and learning in the classroom to life. Our curriculum aims to retains its contemporary relevance and it equips our pupils with future-ready skills.”
