Last Thursday, our Year 7 and 8 put on their glad rags and dressed to impress for their end of term formal dinner. Thanks to the interior design skills of our parents, our Senior Dining Room was transformed into a stunning venue that would rival any Spring wedding.
Starting with mocktails on the South Terrace, our excited pupils then warmed up inside over a delicious three course meal, courtesy of our talented inhouse catering team.
After a sumptuous dinner, Fred and Bella, our Head Boy and Head Girl, thanked the St Andrew's community and teachers, and delivered an inspirational speech about making the best of opportunities and life lessons. Party games were enjoyed by all, and then it was a mad dash to the Old Hall to bust some moves to an eclectic array of dance tracks courtesy of resident DJ, Billy.
Head of Seniors, James Fearn, said:
"Our Senior pupils had a wonderful evening to celebrate, and be congratulated on the superb leadership they show around school every day. An enormous thank you to the Year 7 and 8 parents who decorated the SDR in such style".
Additional special thanks go to James Fearn and Sophie Hearn for organising the event, and to Johnnie Wrennall for taking such an incredible selection of photos. It was, without doubt, an evening to remember, and one our Year 7 and 8 will undoubtedly treasure for years.
